President: Sister Phyllis Pack

Phyllis was born into the Church of the Living God PG&T as her parents were lifelong members and at the age of 10 they united with Church of the Living God CWFF in Lawton under the leadership of Elder E. L. Bowie, Sr. 

Phyllis received her education in Lawton graduating from Cameron University with a dual Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice and Sociology a Masters Degree in Psychology.  She attended Dallas Institute of Funeral Services in Dallas, Texas graduating with her Mortuary Science Degree.

Phyllis is married to the love of her life Overseer Brian J. Pack for 36 years; they have five daughters and eight grandchildren.

Phyllis has served in various positions throughout the years and currently is serving as Church Clerk, member of the Choir, Usher Board, Women’s Work Ministry and any other areas that she is need at Temple #213 where her husband is the Pastor.  In District 10, she is currently serving as President of District Women’s Work Ministry, President Ministers Wives, and member of District Choir.

Phyllis and her family reside in Lawton, Oklahoma and have traveled to Amarillo, Texas for the past 17 years, she states that she enjoys traveling as her husband served 20 years in the U. S. Army where they lived at Fort Knox, Kentucky, and spent 12 years in Germany, one year in Korea and retired at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. 

Phyllis has been employed with the State of Oklahoma as a Case Manager since 2001 and has worked with Funeral Services for the past 40 years where she works as a Funeral Director/Embalmer.

She states that all the traveling, schooling and experiences that she has done and experienced does not begin to compare with her love for God the Father, his son Jesus Christ and, “if anybody ask you who I am, tell them “I’m” a child of God first and foremost.

Her favorite bible verse is “I can do all things through Christ, Jesus who strengthenth me.”  Philippians 4:13.
