Missionary Wynona Jordan-Thomas
11th District North
Missionary Wynona Jordan-Thomas, she was born October 12, 1962 in Vallejo, Ca to Missionary Irene Jordan and the late Brother Aaron Jordan. She is married to Brother John Lee Thomas, III and is very proud of him.
She and her husband are the proud parents of four daughters, A’lea, Alva Ann, Glennda and Tamina and one son, Marlon. They have been blessed, so far, with four grandchildren.
Missionary Thomas is a faithful member of CHURCH OF THE LIVING GOD, CWFF-Temple #321, District 11 where Bishop Randy J. Kelly is her Pastor. She holds the position of 11th District North Co-President of the Women’s Work Ministry along with Evangelist Vicky Alberty. This position is near and dear to her heart for many reasons which are; giving her the opportunity to assist with seasoned sisters of the church and working with various communities, and the opportunity to teach younger women about God.
She serves as the Local Women’s Work President; she works on the hospitality committee, and is the Assistant Manager of the Dietary committee. She enjoys going to Wednesdays Weekly Bible Study and Women’s Work Meetings. On the National level she serves as secretary for the Mighty Praying Women (MPW) of the National Women’s Work Ministry. As MPW’s Secretary, she has created the format for requesting prayer and has designed the MPW Prayer Calendar.
Missionary Jordan-Thomas attended Ohio University, attaining a Degree in Secondary Education. She is employed at Vallejo City Unified School District and holds the position of Office Manager at the Vallejo Educational Academy. She greatly enjoys working with students. Her degree has served her well in working with students with disabilities, helping those who experience social disadvantages, and understanding their problems. She greatly enjoys opportunities to improve her computer skills. When in the office, she is in her element.
She gives all praises to God, who art in Heaven and is thankful to Him for her life.
