women's Work
Ministry

President: Evangelist Gricelda Ramsey

Picture
Minister Gricelda Ramsey has been a member of the Church of the Living God (C.W.F.F.) Temple 279 since the age of 16-years old. I have served in my local temple in many capacities including YPPU sponsor, trustee (secretary, financial secretary, and treasurer), Sunday school teacher, choir member and director, women's work vice-president, and I have served as president of my local temple for the since November 2010. I am married to Pastor Nicholas Ramsey, and I am the mother of two children and grandmother of one granddaughter. In my career background, I have a master's degree in social work and a master's degree in education (adult education and training). As a social worker, I have work with various groups of people. However, most of my work has been with adolescents and children and families. I am currently a clinical therapist and soon to be life/spiritual coach. On Sunday, (March 30, 2014), I have accepted my calling in ministry giving my trial sermon. In addition, I operate a home-based full-service travel agency. My passion is people, especially women, adolescents/young women, and families.

As president, it is my goal to work together to build a women's ministry that is truly lead by God and His mission for us. This will include composing a district women's ministry team to help service the 4th district. Additionally I would like to work with each temple to ensure that there is a thriving women's ministry, which encompasses the young women of the church. I believe this can be accomplished by bringing innovation (various programs) to the women's ministry, which will equipped us to address issues that deal with the whole woman, meeting them in their current state/situation and sharing the word of God with them through example and showering the love that God has extended to each of us onto them. One of my major focuses in addition to enlisting the women in our own temples is community outreach.

I truly thank Almighty God for this opportunity to serve in this ministry!
