president: Evangelist Stacy copeland

Evangelist Stacy Copeland is the daughter of Joylyn Kinney and Kenneth Chow and was raised in the Kansas City, Kansas community where she continues to live. I am a mother of 3 children; Eric II, Erin and Evin Copeland. I proudly proclaim my children as my greatest gift from God. I have been a member of the Church of the Living God, Temple No. 10 since 1994. My early beginnings, growth and understanding of the things of God began under the Pastorship of Overseer Kenneth Goodlow and later Evangelist Lorena Goodlow. Through the leadership of my current Pastor, Overseer David Flournoy, I continue to grow and serve in the local temple in various capacities including treasurer, choir member/director, praise team, music ministry president, YPPU teacher and Sunday school teacher.
I have earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration and a Master of Science Management Degree in Business Management. I have been employed in the Housing Industry serving the less fortunate for nearly 24 years. I am currently employed with the U. S. Dept. of Housing and Urban Development as a Portfolio Management Specialist and daily fulfilling my passion of helping and serving others.
Hearing the voice of God calling, I accepted the call into the ministry in 2010 and was ordained as an Evangelist in the Church of the Living God in 2016.
I am humbled and honored to serve as District 7’s Women’s Work Ministry President. As President it is my goal to work together with the women from each temple to create an atmosphere where women of all ages are accepted and have a healthy and safe place to grow and develop into all that God has created them to be. It is my intent to facilitate opportunities for growth through relevant workshops to deal with life circumstances, sister to sister mentorships, service to the less fortunate, fellowship, and prayer and worship to our Heavenly Father and Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Most importantly, I will show the love of God to these women and cheer them on as they grow stronger in the Lord and are empowered by the Holy Spirit to exercise their power and authority here on earth.
All Praises, Glory and Honor to my heavenly Father who has entrusted me for this purpose for such a time as this.
